Something different: A fun logic puzzle for you to do.
Four women announced that they were going to quit smoking at a local Cigarettes Anonymous meeting. Each woman planned to stop smoking on a different day and each gave up their package of cigarettes at the meeting to prove they were serious. Can you determine what each woman’s full name is, what day each will stop smoking, and what brand of cigarette each gave up?
1. Henrietta didn’t plan to quit on Sunday and she didn’t smoke menthols.
2. The following list reflects each woman following the order of the week: Gretta, Ms. Shoe, the woman who smokes 100mm cigarettes, and Friday.
3. None of the women chose to quit on Saturday. The woman who smokes king-sized quit two days after Angela.
4. Mrs. Folley quit smoking on Sunday and the woman who smokes ‘regulars’, which wasn’t Ms. West or Suzie Braum, quit the next day.
